Giovedì 19 novembre alle ore 19.00 vi aspettiamo online con una diretta sulla pagina facebook del Collettivo Zam E IN DIRETTA SU RADIO-ZAM per un incontro con Aysar Al-Saifi.
Il dialogo sarà condotto da Giulia Mercu (membro del collettivo zam che ha svolto attività di cooperazione nel campo profughi Deisha) con il supporto di Althea Phol, interprete e traduttrice dell’opera.
L’incontro con l’autore sarà un’occasione per riflettere sulla questione israelo-palestinese, grazie all’ascolto di un testimone sarà più facile capire le condizioni in cui vive il popolo palestinese a cui, giorno dopo giorno, vengono sottratti diretti e territori.
Infatti, Foglie di gelso è una raccolta di racconti sull’esperienza della prigionia dei palestinesi nelle carceri israeliane. Un’opera che non mostra un’impronta unicamente politica, ma si concentra ampiamente sull’esperienza umana e i sentimenti che ne vengono suscitati. Si tratta di storie vere, tramandate all’interno del campo profughi di Dheìsheh a Betlemme, uno dei più grandi della Palestina/Cisgiordania, di cui è originario l’autore.
